ubuntu 8.04, brother hl-2070N, dell inspiron 6400

EH… sorry I new in all this… once I have installed the correct drivers,whats next?

When I go to admin->printers ubuntu doesnt recognize the printer

My Friend and I had to fiddle with our Brother DCP-115C to enable it in Mint
Linux with Another Brother model driver. What Linux Distro would you say ,will
find the greatest number of printer makes/models ? or which Distro is the easiest to “marry” a printer /Multifunction to.
