Thanks for this information about the Wrapper.
I also didn’t know that the printer needs a Wrapper ! Thanks so much.

The installation was even more simply than you described.

I use Ubuntu Feisty (7.04) which detected the HL 2070N automatically with IP without setting it to a network printer !!!

Now I can start working completely independently from MS.

Will these drivers work for the PPC version of Ubuntu? I have the 2070N – but the links specified above don’t seem to work with my Powerbook laptop.

I use Ubuntu 6.06 and had installed HL-2070N the same way, you dicribed it above. But i can’t print a page, i get always a massage: “Job stopped”. Any Ideas?

Me again!. I solved that problem by installing hl1250 driver instead of 2070N. The driver is at this address:

Hi,

Thanks for the help but do you experience a problem when printing pdf files from acrobat reader. In my case pages do not fit, they shift down. I do not have this problem when I print to a file and review it as ps.
